The wall thickness of each part of the single-phase motor housing casting varies greatly, and the stress when the casting is cooled and solidified will also be relatively The deformation tendency of castings cannot be accurately predicted before. For the castings that were initially poured, the diameter of the straight barrel ends differed by 15mm, and the ellipse was more serious. By setting the annular casting ribs at the straight barrel ends, the diameter error of the straight barrel ends was within 1mm.
A U-shaped structure is partially formed at the two long uprights on the outer side of the cylinder, and the deformation here is also large. The distance between the two uprights is not scaled when the mold is made, so that the size of the casting exactly meets the nominal size; The arc part between the columns, the drawing requires the wall thickness to be 12mm after processing, and 5~7mm after actual processing. The problem here is solved by setting the anti-deformation amount and increasing the thickness of the arc to the axis of the barrel by 5mm.
