How to judge the quality of servo motor housing?
1. When purchasing, you can draw slightly on the surface of the profile to see whether the oxide film on its surface can be wiped off. Of course, this should not be carried out directly on the sample window. The owner can operate the materials displayed by the merchant.
2. Gloss: when purchasing the servo motor shell, avoid selecting profiles with openings, bubbles and ash on the surface, as well as obvious defects such as cracks, burrs and peeling. If there are the above phenomena, it can be concluded that it is the secondary processing of recycled aluminum or waste aluminum.
3. Look at the chromaticity: the overall color of the servo motor shell should be consistent. If the color difference is obvious, it should not be purchased. Generally, the section color of aluminum shell is silver white with uniform texture. If the color is dark, it can be determined that it is made of recycled aluminum or waste aluminum.
4. Look at the thickness: 70 and 90 series aluminum profiles are commonly used, and their wall thickness should be 1.2-2.0mm. The wall thickness of aluminum profile is 1.2mm according to the national standard.
5. Look at the strength: when purchasing, you can bend the shell moderately by hand. If you bend the shell without effort, it can be determined that the strength of aluminum profile does not meet the standard. In addition, the harder the profile is, the better. Aluminum has a certain toughness and is not a hard material. Only by using this feature can it be forged into different shapes. Therefore, you need to identify the brand and observe carefully when purchasing.
6. Check the flatness: check the surface of the servo motor housing to ensure there is no depression or bulge. The aluminum shell processed by regular manufacturers has a flat and bright surface. If it is a small workshop, due to machines or raw materials, the shell surface will be slightly concave and convex, so the aluminum alloy shell is very easy to oxidize and deform in the later stage.
